I have been in the planning stages of my next major build now for a while, mainly working on design elements and buying a few bits and pieces to get ready to block out the main layout. This build will ideally be for display at Brickvention 2021 in Melbourne and will explore one of my favourite LEGO themes of all time, Castle.

As I mentioned above I have started with the design elements this time and this is primarily because the idea of evolving some beloved faction designs has really captured my imagination.

The first step in the design process was to choose which factions I would like to include in my display and it didn’t take me very long at all to decide on Black Falcons and Forestmen as they would have to be my two favourite factions.
